How to play
Getting started
Type your name and hit Play to join a public game, or create a private game and send your mates the invite link. Pick a colour, and the host starts the game once at least two players are ready. Everyone begins on G'Day! with $1,500 (the host can change this).
Your turn
- Roll two dice and move that many squares clockwise.
- Roll doubles and you go again. Roll doubles three times in a row and you go straight to Lock-up.
- Pass or land on G'Day! to collect $200.
- When you're done, press End turn.
Buying and rent
Land on a property, airport or utility nobody owns and you can buy it. Pass, and it goes to auction, where anyone can bid, including you. Land on something another player owns and you pay them rent automatically.
- Own every property in a colour set and its base rent doubles.
- Airports charge $25, $50, $100 or $200, depending on how many the owner has.
- The Solar Farm and Desal Plant charge 4× your dice roll, or 10× if one player owns both.
- Mortgaged properties don't collect rent.
Building
With a full colour set, you can build houses: up to four per property, then a hotel. Build evenly across the set, one house at a time. Houses make rent jump fast, so a full set with three houses is where games are won. You can sell buildings back to the bank for half what you paid.
Cards
Land on Fair Go or The Esky and you draw a card. It might pay out a tax refund, send you to Lock-up, or hit you with a council rates bill. Keep any Get Out of Lock-up Free card until you need it, or trade it to someone who does.
Lock-up
You're sent to Lock-up by the Go to Lock-up corner, by a card, or by rolling three doubles. On your turn you can pay $50, use a card, or try to roll doubles. After three failed tries you pay $50 and move. Landing on Lock-up by a normal roll just means you're visiting.
Trading
Offer any mix of properties, cash and cards to another player. They can accept, decline or send a counter-offer. Properties with buildings in their set can't be traded until the buildings are sold.
Running out of money
If you owe more than you have, you can sell buildings, mortgage properties or make a trade to raise the cash. If you still can't cover it, you're bankrupt. Everything you own goes to the player you owed, or back to the bank. The last player standing wins.
House rules
The host can switch on Holiday cash (taxes and fines go into a pot for whoever lands on Holiday), turn off auctions or mortgaging, set a turn timer, and choose when trading is allowed. You can see every setting in the game lobby before the game starts.
